Black History Program 2016 Costuming

Black History Show - SUNDAY, February 28, 2016

ALL STUDENTS MUST REPORT TO STAGE AREA AT 1pm.

Please feed all students prior to dropping them off and send a light, clean snack for later and 1 bottle of water per child.

Saturday 9:00- skintone bodysuit, black fishnets, white dance shorts, black tap shoes

Saturday 10:00- GIRLS: skintone bodysuit, black jazz pants, black tap shoes

Saturday 1100 –GIRLS: brown and tan floral dress, skintone bodysuits, skintone tights, with a different color long sleeve sweater, pink ballet shoes

Saturday 1200 “MIME” –White MIME costume (jacket n harem pants)

Saturday 100 “Int/Adv Tap”- T-shirt W/ positive message, blue jeans, tap shoes

Saturday 200 “Int/Adv Ballet”- skintone bodysuit, skintone tights (blk dress see Ms Lynetta)

Boys- black button down shirt and black slacks

INT Hip-Hop- GIRLS: black halter leotard, black jazz pants, black jazz shoes

ADV Hip-Hop- Cleaning clothes, black jazz shoes

Pointe- skintone bodysuits, skintone tights, apron, Pointe shoes

SD Kids/Jr. Company- Girls: tan, crèam, or brown tshirt, black jazz shoes ( pants see Ms Lynetta)

Sr. Company- T-shirt W/ positive message, blue jeans, jazz shoes

Broadacres 245/Ambler 245- Black halter leotard, black jazz pants, black tap shoes

Annalee 245/ Leapwood 245- Black halter leotard, skintone tights, pink ballet shoes

Annalee/Leapwood/Ambler 400- black halter leotard, skin tone, pink ballet shoes

Wonderland-skintone bodysuit, black fishnets, white dance shorts, black tap shoes

All dancewear listed above are the base the children need to wear. Additional items will be added for each class and students must return the items after the show. We are fortunate to have costumes on hand to loan to the students in order to keep costume cost low. However, costuming MUST BE RETURNED (after each dance) in order to allow this luxury for all students year after year.
